He had completed a week of art classes. It was the first time he had decided to do something for himself – he’d spent his entire life living up to other people’s expectations. But when he came across a poster advertising art classes in his building, he knew he couldn’t pass up this opportunity. He made time every day, to work on his art, painstakingly adding the tiniest details to his paintings.
Today’s theme was birds. As he entered the class, he took to his seat by the window. While the others referenced the internet, he recalled his childhood. With a quiet smile playing on his lips, he decided to draw the first bird he’d ever spotted in the wild – the blue toucan.
Let your spirits soar when your gaze falls on this beautiful cotton cushion cover.

Sweet, sour, salty and just a little bitter – Paloma is all that and so much more. And love is, in so many ways, like a pastel pink Spicy Paloma. Love is sweet with romance, sours with jealousy and doubt, salty when tears of separation flow and bitter when it comes to an end. Love can be fiery and heady, like the Tequila in a Paloma, or tart like the grapefruit that makes you pucker your mouth in the shape of a kiss.
Love is many things, and its every hue is celebrated in this delicate mauve cotton blouse.

The senses write her being. She sees beginnings in dewed buds. Hears hope in wet soil and smells cure in herbs.
In her parting caress, leaves find a new lease of life.
A true force of nature, she blossoms across seasons.
Her vital spirit is reified in flowers. Flowers, big and small, rising in power.
And what does she tell the naysayers
pointing a finger at her joy?
Calm as ever, she smiles.
And somewhere, a Gulmohar tree beams over parched miles.
Don this charming red mul cotton with zari saree to stand out at a gathering or family function.

When she was little, she believed that fairies were real. She held on to this belief even as she grew older, although everyone laughed at her and told her to ‘grow up’. But she couldn’t stop thinking of these tiny little beings, working in their mysterious ways to make the world a better place. In fact, she didn’t want to. It didn’t matter whether or not she could see fairies or whether she’d ever witnessed one herself. It mattered that she believed in magic, the magic of little things. Whether fairies or fireflies, these beings of light made even the darkest nights more bearable.
Be the light of your world in this exquisite multi-coloured embellished blouse, which has an elegant square neckline.

The Tussar silk is a material that is synonymous with richness and lush beauty. This material is woven using silk threads obtained from the cocoons of silkworms belonging to the moth genus Antheraea. Since most of these silkworms are found in forest areas, Tussar silk is also known to be a wild silk variety or a forest product. The characteristic features of this material are the deep gold colour that the silk exudes and the amazing texture. This kind of silk is thicker than normal silk but needs to be taken care of and preserved since the fibres are shorter and can result in a decrease in durability. But then, anything precious has to be taken care of, right? The natural sheen of this fabric is inimitable and is perfect for festive occasions as well as when you want the spotlight on you! The magical feel of this fabric combined with the weaving skills of talented weavers results in a fabric that will embrace you and make you shine!

It was customary for everyone to buy something precious to mark Dhanteras. It ensured that the family would enjoy yet another prosperous year, her mother explained. At the bazaar, she stared in awe at the rows of jewellery shops hawking their finest wares. Diamond necklaces, emerald bracelets, ruby rings, or even collars and cuffs made of solid gold, she saw them all. It made her wonder about whether tradition had been diluted in an ecosystem of excesses – of excessive overconsumption. She decided to change the norm and celebrate what mattered the most to her – those she loved. And she didn’t need to be extravagant to do that.
Make room in your heart for those that truly count, when you wear this beautiful silver blouse made of handloom cotton silk.
Cotton silk is a blend of cotton and silk. Clothes made of this fabric are lightweight, soft, breathable, and have an elegant sheen. This hybrid fabric is especially popular as it can be worn with comfort and ease during both summers and winters.

Certain things, when broken, could never be mended. Like a heart, for instance. Or fine china. That’s what she’d always believed, until heartbreak inspired an impromptu trip to Japan. Despite the beauty and newness around her, she was still miserable. But one morning, while out on a walk to a flea market, she saw potters mending the broken pottery pieces with lacquer dusted with powdered gold – a technique called kintsugi. She was amazed by the beauty of these pottery pieces. When she enquired about them, the potter smiled and told her that it was a process of healing; not just fixing some pieces with gold. The reason for this craft was to embrace flaws and imperfections. His words struck a chord. She knew that, just like the pottery, her heart only grew more beautiful if she let it heal. And, in doing so, she would let it shine like the gold is truly was.
Be the sona of your life in this gold handloom Chanderi silk blouse.
Chanderi is a luxurious but lightweight fabric. Silk, cotton and zari are woven together on the warp and weft in various combinations to create different textures – the resultant fabric is visually stunning and feels exceptionally comfortable. It is no surprise then that this fabric was favoured by royalty and continues to be a hot favourite, especially for the festive season. The fabric used for this blouse is a handloom weave. The process is time and labour intensive, but adds an inimitable beauty to the fabric. Choosing handloom products enables us to support smaller weavers while keeping alive our country’s rich weaving heritage.

Every morning, she eagerly waited for the flower seller to arrive on his rickety old bicycle. His bags were filled to the brim with beautiful red roses, marigolds of a startling orange, fragrant strings of jasmine and various other blossoms whose names she didn’t know. What captivated her, however, was the large bunch of fresh lotuses he’d wrap up in a sheet of newsprint and set aside from all the other varieties. These lotuses were special, for they had travelled a long way to make it to the flower market at daybreak. She’d set aside a few coins from her allowance to buy one flower each morning. She’d carefully place it in a bowl of water and set the simple arrangement on her study table. It was a simple ritual, but worth more than the greatest extravagances in terms of how much peace it brought her.
Cherish life’s simplicity, in this sophisticated off-white silk blouse, which features a sweetheart neckline.
Silk is naturally obtained from the cocoons of the silk moth Bombyx mori. Silk fibres obtained from the cocoon are wound on spools and woven on looms. The history of silk production dates back to ancient China, where silk was first discovered. Gradually, the production and trade of silk spread to different parts of the world, via the silk route. This lustrous fabric is said to be one of the strongest natural fabrics in the world and is known for its high textile strength.

It was the final day of my exhibition. In many ways this was a first. It was the first time I’d taken a bet on myself. The first time I trusted my own abilities and I was so proud with how far I’d come. I’d also learned so much as I worked hard to convert my own garage into a makeshift store. As I handed over the change to the last customer, I saw my grandfather walked towards me. “Where to next, little bird?” he asked affectionately. Towards greener pastures, solid terrains and a better life. As if on cue, the setting sun cast a golden beam across my alley, as a sign of golden days to come.
This pretty cotton blouse will remind you to never tone down your determination.
